Beginning with studies in historic preservation and woodworking in historic Charleston, SC, Joe has worked professionally in both architecture and graphic design on the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. He studied architecture and urban design in Genoa, Italy in 2011, setting the foundation of his design work to focus on culturally sensitive, sustainable and urbanist principles.

His professional career includes working at large firms on projects all over the world to small residential and hospitality studios delivering new construction, whole house renovations, and small workspace interiors.

His graphic design experience has engaged him with Inc. 5000 companies and small startups alike. He holds a Master degree in Architecture from Clemson University and a B.A. from the College of Charleston.
